New Menu Labeling Laws for Food Restaurants

1. Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has introduced new menu labeling laws that target food restaurants, requiring them to mention the required details about the food on the menu, including nutritional information and ingredients information, along with health messages.                      2. The labeling rules apply to pre-packaged food and food served in restaurants

3. Additionally, there are laws and regulations in India that govern the food industry, including the mandatory compliance of restaurants to ensure food safety and hygiene.

It is important for restaurant owners to stay updated on any changes in regulations and comply with all the rules and regulations to ensure the smooth functioning of their business. Adv. Samarjeet Singh (Amritsar)
